My degree show took place in June 2004 after a three year course at Bath Spa University.
My work featured jigger and jolleyed tableware ranging in size from tiny espresso cups and saucers, right up to large platters 58cm in diameter.
I also produced hand-thrown pale blue porcelain bottles.
The course was an excellent and absorbing experience, but sadly, will cease running as a Ceramics course as of summer 2011. However, a replacement course, 'Ideas, Materials and Objects' (IMO) is due to start running in its place from 2010 and promises to be very interesting, incidentally including ceramics as one of a number of making options in its repertoire.
